5/16/11: CLE Flats Under Fire – Help The Skatepark!

“A few in City Council are considering cutting some Flats funding that they already approved! The skatepark will be the most accessible and used recreational facility and keeping it in the Flats is critical.They want to pull money out of the Flats to use in outer wards. They are saying that we don’t live/skate/work downtown and that the money could be used on other projects. – Get there about 1:45PM – Bring Photo ID have it ready for quick pass through security – Bring as many skaters and family as you can – Cleveland skaters or anyone – PLEASE COME and support the skate park! Bring your whole family and kids if you are out of school SHOW THEM THAT WE BELONG DOWNTOWN!! Thank you Mayor Jackson, Council members Sweeney, Phyllis Cleveland and Cimperman for all your support! 1 Year Ago Today…

…I started this website. I could bore you with a recap of the site’s history but I won’t. I just want to say thank you to the people who visit the site, whether it be every once in awhile or on a regular basis. Also, I would like to thank anyone who has ever reached out to me or shown me support of any kind. I appreciate the messages and e-mails you guys send me. I want to give thanks to The Legend Blog for not only interviewing me, but hooking me up with some more blog work and always supporting Ohio Skate University and I want to thank Tedd Cookerly for hooking me up for the Cowtown Showdown which granted me great opportunities.
