“What’s happenin’? I’m Trademark Aaron. I’m probably not what you imagine as a rapper, but thats exactly what I am.
Born and raised in Kentucky, I’m really your average middle American. I graduated High School, dropped out of College (twice), and worked various blue collar jobs while I chased my dream of making it in the music world. Ever since I was little I’ve gotten the most fulfillment and pride from writing clever stories and poems. I didn’t really know what to do with my writings until I found Hip Hop (or Hip Hop found me). I was really inspired by people like Nas, Jay-Z, Wu-Tang, UGK, Outkast, Reflection Eternal, and Mos Def. Not just by the slick-talking, funny, witty lines and precise flows, but by the creativity and the ability to give the listeners visuals they could really see while listening. I knew this was something I had to be a part of.
Most of my life I was a quiet shy kid who just went with the flow of what was going on, following others instead of leading. But being involved with music really helped me carve out my own path to get what I really wanted in life. From being involved in freestyle battles, to writing and recording songs, to performing on stages, I truly found myself in the music. I went from writing and rhyming for fun and entertainment, to truly having a passion and drive to do it for the rest of my life.
More than anything I just want to make great music that can last forever, not just for the moment. My focus is to become one of the greatest of all time and be able to make music that all different types of people can enjoy and identify with. I’m not just here for the bright lights and the big checks, I truly want to be recognized as an artist and writer that can paint pictures with words. I’m not like anyone you’ve seen before, I’m something else entirely.
