The second day had 4 different competitions in the schedule: Amateur Beginners, Amateur Advanced, Best Trick and Sponsored. I have video of some of the runs so I’ll post the complete competition results with the videos. I started out the day by saying hi to a few people including Greg Patton from JPSkates and found out he checks out the site just about everyday and tells people to visit it. Thanks Greg!

Mike Berdis won the best trick contest which I missed because I was outside talking to Marty Murawski. I’m sure he deserved it seeing as he gapped to backside 5-0 to backside 180 out on the angled ledge during his first run during the Sponsored competition.
Paul Shier and Marty Murawski were the judges for the Sponsored competition. They had to pick ten people to advance to the finals after watching about an hour’s worth of runs. The runs were a minute and a half long each with a little bit of extra time to let the skaters have one last trick. After the 10 runs they narrowed it down into the winning 3.
I plan on uploading the final runs of the top 3 skaters from each event since I filmed more than I took pictures. As I said before, there will be a full run down of the placings.
At the end of the day Wally gave a quick speech thanking everyone for coming out. I stayed after to help clean up and to thank Tedd and Wally for letting me come out and do this. When I thanked Wally he said, “I hope you got some good stuff, I can’t wait to see it since I didn’t really get to enjoy it, you know? (laughs)”. Thanks again Tedd and Wally, can’t wait to see what you guys can get lined up for next year.
Check back for a slideshow from Day 2, it should be on later today.
