After the signing at Old Skool we went to the Cowtown Showdown pre-party at Kickstand pub. This is the first and only bar in Columbus to have a mini-ramp in it and I was told they hold weekly skate nights.

Within a few minutes of being there I spotted Taylor Nawrocki and I introduced myself and told him I put his Polished Terdz/Lazy Sunday videos on the site all the time to which he replied “Are you Ohio Skate University?” and told me he checks the site from time to time which I thought was pretty sick.
Awhile after that, I spotted OJ Hayes and introduced myself to him and told him I posted him winning Red Bull’s Manny Mania in Columbus and the voting info for the digital finals.
The night was spent mostly watching a few of the guys play pool while some stayed at the bar. I spent my time either watching pool games, watching the mini ramp, or small talk with Marty Murawski or Jon Nguyen. There were a few incidents at different times. One involved Fred Gall and a random woman, another involved Taylor Nawrocki and the same random woman, and another involved a gas station and fists. You just had to be there.
